RESEARCH PROJECT SCHEMES OF THE ICSSR
IIMV Professors bagged Research Grant-in-Aid under the various Research Project Schemes of the ICSSR.
ICSSR research grants promote cutting-edge social science research by Indian scholars, with theoretical, concep-
tual, methodological, and policy implications.
1. Prof. Sushil Kumar and Prof. Srinivas Josyula
received a Research Grant-in-Aid under the Minor Research
Project Scheme of the Indian Council for Social Sciences
Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. Their project titled ‘Women-led
Business and Challenges to their Scalability – An extensive
study of Andhra Pradesh’, focusses on the constraints of
growth faced by women-led businesses in Andhra Pradesh.
2. Prof. Aalok Kumar and Prof. PRS Sarma received
a Research Grant-in-Aid under the Major Research Project
Scheme of the Indian Council for Social Sciences Research
(ICSSR), New Delhi. Their project titled ‘Developing socially
sustainable Indian dairy supply chain from multi-stakehold-
ers’ perspective: A bi-state firm-level analysis, focused to
develop the socially responsible dairy industry of concerned
states
3. Prof. Amit Shankar Grant-in-Aid under the Major Research Project Scheme of
the Indian Council for Social Sciences Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. His project
titled ‘Can Indian Base of the Pyramid Consumers Move from Bank Queue to Mobile
Payment?’, focuses on exploring enablers and inhibitors towards mobile payment in
rural India.
CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS, INVITED TALKS, AND OTHER
ACHIEVEMENTS OF IIMV FACULTY
Prof. Amit Baran Chakrabarti has been selected by the Academy of International
Business (AIB) for the Emerging Scholars from Emerging Market Program (ESEMP).
AIB ESEMP provides development and support interventions for high-quality research
in international business, including complimentary access to various AIB programs and
journals and participation in select paper development workshops.
