Final Placements - MBA 2022-22
The Institute is happy to notify that with the risks of the pandemic decreasing significantly and businesses
bouncing back to high-growth track, there has been an upward revision in the compensation packages
offered to our students in their final placements, which were completed by December 31, 2021.
The highest package now stands at Rs.31.60 lakh recording a huge 51.78% growth over the last year. The
median and average packages have also witnessed a significant hike to 15.46 lakh and 15.06 lakh,
registering a rise of 28.83% and 19.33%, respectively over the previous season.Needless to mention,
records across all metrics have been broken by the graduating batch, proving that its talent witnessed
even better recognition, with the pandemic no longer being a constraint for the industry.

Summer Placements - MBA 2021-23
The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam celebrates the completion of the Summer Placements
Drive for the MBA 2023 batch. The results uphold the legacy of IIMV of consistently delivering 100%
placements, with the students achieving the milestone even in the face of pandemic challenges. The
Career Development Services (CDS) Office takes immense pride in announcing the results with the highest
stipend witnessing a staggering 75% increase over the last year at INR 3,50,000 for the two-month
internship, and an average stipend across the batch of INR 57,700.
IIMV witnessed enthusiastic participation by new and existing recruiters spread across industries and
domains. Held on a rolling basis, the summer placement season witnessed more than 60 companies
participating in the process and making multiple offers. IT/ITES continued to bet big on fresh talent
accounting for 27% of the total offers made, followed by BFSI (22%), Consulting (12%), Manufacturing
(10%), EdTech (10%), E-Commerce (5%) and other sectors like FinTech and FMCG.
Prominent recruiters that reposed confidence in the Institute’s talent include Microsoft, KPMG, YES Bank,
ICICI Bank, Bosch, D.E. Shaw, Cognizant, ThermoFisher, ICICI Lombard, Mahindra Logistics, Latent View
Analytics, Dalmia Bharat, TVS Credit, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel, HPCL, HSL and NSDC.
