IIM V hosted the fourth and fifth Annual Convocation virtually which witnessed the graduation of PGP
and PGPEx students from 2018-20 and 2019-21 batches respectively. The chief guest for this event, Dr.
Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, emphasized on the need to assess social science institutions
such as the IIMs on their social impact and urged the graduating batches to migrate from a profit

maximization mindset to that which values Quadruple Bottom Line of Economy, Ecology, Social
contribution, and Equity. He stressed on the need to bring traditional knowledge to mainstream
awareness through robust scientific research, and the value of democratic principles and social welfare in

Addressing the gathering Shri Hari S. Bhatia, Chairperson, Board of Governors IIM V, highlighted the
changing social and work milieu with the advent of digital technology and social media, and encouraged
the outgoing batches to stay agile and humble in their professional journey. Later Prof. Chandrasekhar M,
Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, addressed the graduating batches and listed the achievements of the

outgoing cohorts and underscored the value of focus and professionalism.

Prof. Anuradha M V (Chairperson, Post-Graduate Program in Management), and Prof. Vinay Ramani
(Chairperson, Post-Graduate Program for Experienced Professionals), declared the merit lists for the
respective programs. The Vani Row Memorial Gold Medal was awarded to the toppers among the women
participants from the PGP program.
