      ACHIEVEMENTS UNDER TIDE2.0

      Invomac Private Limited (Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh),  a  startup  incubated  under  the  TIDE2.0
      scheme,  was  selected  for  CHUNAUTI  –  NextGen  Startup  Challenge  Contest,  an  online  Challenge  under
                                               STPI’s   comprehensive     incubation
                                               scheme - Next Generation Incubation
                                               Scheme (NGIS). Inovmac’s solution of
                                               using  machine  modularity,  and  IoT
                                               with  robust  hardware  helps  provide
                                               visibility  on  machine  failures  and
                                               quickly  resolve  the  issue  thereby
                                               reducing a machine’s down time.
       Snazzy Care Private Limited (Hyderabad, Telangana), another startup
       incubated under the TIDE2.0 scheme, was selected for the Y- Combinator
       accelerator program and is currently in the process of raising early-stage
       financing for their venture. Snazzy makes the client’s teeth straightening
       journey as comfortable and as affordable as possible by using invisible
       braces or clear aligners. The team has designed the system in such a way
       that the client can stay at home and get the same professional attention
       as with a top orthodontist by using teledentistry. Throughout the journey,
       the patient and the orthodontist are in touch through an app thus making
       the process very smooth and affordable.

      MOU WITH ANDHRA UNIVERSITY

          29 JANUARY
      MOU signed on 29 January for IIM Visakhapatnam provid-
      ing capacity building services to Andhra University. Vice
      Chancellor  Prof.  Prasad  Reddy,  Rector  Prof.  Samantha
      and Registrar Professor Krishna Mohan of Andhra Univer-
      sity  are  seen,  along  with  the  Director  Prof.  M  Chan-
      drashekar,  Prof.  Sriranga  and  Coordinator  (admin)  Prof.
      Deepika Gupta of IIM Visakhapatnam.


      MGNF PROGRAM   LAUNCH EVENT

                                                                  IIM  Visakhapatnam  was  awarded  the  presti-
                                                                  gious  Capacity-building  cum  Consultancy  Proj-
                                                                  ect under the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow-
                                                                  ship  (MGNF)  Scheme  by  the  Ministry  of  Skill
                                                                  Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Gov-
                                                                  ernment of India (GOI). Operating under the Skill
                                                                  Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Live-
                                                                  lihood Promotion (SANKALP) Program, the two
