WOMEN STARTUP PROGRAM 2020 21

IIM V and IIMV-FIELD (Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning & Development) welcomed the
cohort of Women Startup Program (WSP) 2020-21, with a launch event, on 10 March 2021. Dr. Anita Gupta
(Scientist-G /Adviser and Head-NSTEDB, DST) was the Chief Guest for the occasion and addressed the
women entrepreneurs by drawing their attention to the
various central government schemes that support start-
up ecosystems in the country. She also introduced the
cohort to some of the tech-based startup success
stories which were driven by women in our country.

Prof. M Chandrasekhar, Director - IIM Visakhapatnam &
CEO, IIMV-FIELD and Prof. M Shameem Jawed, Chair -
Entrepreneurship Dev. of IIMV & Chief Operating Officer,
IIMV-FIELD (Program Director) were present in the
event. Prof. Deepika Gupta, Admin. Coordinator of IIMV & CFO, IIMV-FIELD welcomed the guests and the
participants. The program concluded with the alumni women entrepreneurs (WSP 2018 batch) sharing
their experiences and encouraging the new cohort to commence their entrepreneurial journey.

BUSINESS PLAN WORKSHOP IN COLLABORATION WITH EPIC

10 APRIL
IIMV-FIELD had partnered with EPIC to conduct Business Plan workshop for the MBA students. Successful
entrepreneurs incubated at IIMV-FIELD under the TIDE2.0 Scheme shared their experiences and knowledge
with the budding entrepreneurs.
