Inauguration of PGP 2020 - 22 & PhD Programs

He urged students to participate in the initiatives of the Institute
for mutual learning. The Director thanked the IIMV Board
Members for their continued guidance and leadership.
The Admissions Chair, Prof. Amit Baran Chakrabarti, presented
the demographic details of the new batch. He shared that the
students of the 2020-2022 PGP batch came from 22 states
of the country. The new cohort of students was also
diverse in educational background and gender representation.
The PhD Program Chair, Prof. Vivek Madupu, welcomed the
PGP and PhD students and expressed confidence that the
PhD program would flourish in the coming years. The names
of the students who qualified for the Merit Certificate and
Director’s Merit Certificate were announced by Prof. M V
Anuradha, the Chairperson of the PGP program. Prof.

Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, announced the formation of IIMV-
Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning and Development
(IIMV-FIELD). He said this new initiative will give greater thrust to the
existing entrepreneurial initiatives of Institute like TIDE 2.0 and the
Women Startup Program. Prof. Chandrasekhar congratulated the new
