IIM Visakhapatnam Hosts 10th Edition of HR Conclave, Celebrating a Decade of Excellence


Visakhapatnam, November 22, 2025: The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) successfully hosted the 10th edition of its flagship HR conclave, Hridaya 10.0, commemorating ten years of the institute’s growth and contributions to management education. This year’s theme, “Strategic Agility in Talent Development: Empowering Talent for Roles Beyond the Horizon,” brought together influential HR leaders to deliberate on the rapidly evolving talent landscape and the future of work.

The conclave was inaugurated by Professor Happy Paul, Chairperson of Career Development Services and Alumni Relations at IIMV. In his address, he highlighted that HR is a responsibility that extends across all organisational roles and encouraged students to make the most of the diverse insights shared by industry leaders. The event featured two engaging panel discussions followed by a Q&A session where industry experts interacted with students.

The session, “Reskilling and Upskilling: Building Agile Learning Ecosystems,” moderated by Yashpal Singh Parihar, CHRO at Sonovision HQ – Ortec Group, featured Dr. Sunil Singh, Founder of HR TODAY Pvt. Ltd.; Crystal Pinto, Vice President – L&D and Lead HR Technology at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance; Ms. Arpita Pamnani, Vice President – Human Resources at Axis Bank; and Mr. Sunil Naik, Vice President – HR (India & South Asia) at DHL Global Forwarding. The panel, with its vast experience, spoke about change management, learning agility (including hybrid skill sets), leadership across multigenerational workforces, and the cultural and behavioural shifts required to drive change.

The second session, “Learning in the Flow of Work: Blending AI Tools, Microlearning, and Experiential Growth,” led by Ms. Mamta Sharma Ghadiali, Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Regency, featured Dr. Brillian S. K., Chief People Officer at TimesPro; Mr. Prisoomit Nayak, Head – HR & Admin at Kotak Education Foundation; and Mr. Pradeep Chavda, Senior Director – Global HR Transformation at Sodexo. The panel discussed various learning methodologies such as bite-sized learning and emphasised how organisations can reinforce learning effectively through structured models and incentives.

These sessions highlighted how organisations can remain future-ready through adaptable learning models and technology-enabled development practices.

Organised by Manthan, the HR Club of IIM Visakhapatnam, Hridaya 10.0 served as a vibrant platform for meaningful conversations on the future of HR. The conclave offered students and professionals rich insights into how digital transformation, evolving skill demands, and innovative learning practices are shaping the future of talent development.
