Students' Affairs Council

The Students’ Affairs Council (SAC) is the apex representative body of the student community at Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, playing a pivotal role in shaping and enriching campus life. Serving as the primary liaison between the Institute administration and the student body, the SAC ensures seamless communication, effective collaboration, and the timely resolution of student concerns. Committed to upholding the highest standards of student governance, the Council works closely with student clubs and committees to ensure their smooth and efficient functioning in alignment with the student charter. In addition, the SAC actively collaborates with the Institute administration in the development, review, and refinement of policies that contribute to the overall growth and welfare of the student community. The Council comprises eleven members, including the President, democratically elected representatives from various clusters and committees, and four representatives from the PGP1 cohort, collectively working towards fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and student-centric environment at the Institute.
