Sanshrey - Alumni Meet

Sanshrey 2024, with its theme ‘Reflect, Reconnect, Relive,’ unfolded on January 27 and 28th, 2024, as a
remarkable Alumni Homecoming event meticulously organized by IIMV’s Student – Alumni Relations
Committee and Alumni Relations Office. Against the backdrop of our picturesque permanent campus, nearly

75 alumni, along with faculty, staff, and students, participated in this memorable two-day gathering.
The official ceremony took place at our amphitheater, drawing alumni from diverse programs spanning seven
batches, including PGP, PGPEx, PGPCEP, PhD, PGPDGM, etc., who currently hold prominent leadership roles

in various industries. Prof. Deepika Gupta, Chairperson of CDS & Alumni Relations, welcomed everyone and
shared updates on ongoing alumni initiatives, including the formation of the IIMV Alumni Association and
plans for the Young Alumnus Achiever Award. She also discussed the Institute’s engagement opportunities
for alumni and stakeholders.
During the inaugural speech, Prof. Shivshanker Singh Patel, Coordinator (Academics & Research),

emphasized the importance of values and alumni as vital stakeholders in our growing programs. Mr. Guhesh
Ramanathan, CEO of IIMV FIELD (Sec 8 company), highlighted entrepreneurial initiatives, while Mr. Suresh
Krishnan, Consultant (Development), encouraged alumni to give back to the Institute through ‘Time, Talent,

and Treasure.’
The event included sports, high tea for joyful reconnecting and engaging discussions, a delightful dinner,
and a cultural night with stand-up comedy, music, and performances, creating an enjoyable atmosphere
for students and alumni alike. Alumni also interacted with over 22 clubs and committees to learn about
extracurricular activities, and the ceremony wrapped up with a vote of thanks to sponsors and the presentation

of mementos to express gratitude to all involved stakeholders.
