ASRVBB, founded by Dr. A. Sugandhi, in society’s
wellness and Thalassemia children’s well-being. Dr.
Aruna, MD Pathologist and Camp Officer In-charge,
expressed gratitude for active participation. Prof.
M. Chandrasekhar applauded the organizing team
and highlighted the historical importance of blood
donation, emphasizing the critical role blood banks
play in crises. The event drew 110 participants
students, faculty, staff, security, and the NBCC team,
showcasing widespread support.
IIMV hosts Samaarambh 8.0

The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam hosted its annual cultural festival, Samaarambh 8.0, on
March 1 and 2, 2024, at its newly inaugurated permanent campus. The two-day event served as a vibrant
platform for students, faculty, and staff to showcase their diverse talents and celebrate the IIMV community.
Samaarambh 8.0 commenced with a captivating solo acting competition called “Shadow Weaver,” followed
by hilarious stand-up comedy routines by Raunaq Rajani and Naveen Richard, leaving the audience in
stitches. The evening concluded with an enchanting fashion show, “Ethereal Gala,” featuring participants
from IIMV and other colleges, followed by a powerful performance by the music band “Lost Fireflies” and an
energetic DJ set by DJ Tracer.
On the second day, the stage was lit with a captivating group drama titled “Celestial Opera.” Participants
engaged in an exciting treasure hunt and showcased their creativity in a vibrant T-shirt painting competition.
The day ended on a high note with mesmerizing solo singing and dancing performances, followed by a
soulful acoustic performance by Vani Bhasin, an electrifying performance by Nikhil Dsouza, and a vibrant DJ
set by DJ Suit Up.
Samaarambh 8.0 provided a unique platform for the IIMV community to come together, celebrate their
diverse talents, and create lasting memories.
