      KNOWLEDGE SERIES SESSIONS

      The  MGNF  program  office  organized  a  series  of  informative  sessions  known  as  the  ‘Knowledge  Series
      Sessions’ for the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship Cohort of 2021-23. These sessions were designed to
      provide valuable insights and knowledge to the fellows as part of their fellowship program.



      EXPLORING GLOBAL PH.D PATHWAY OPPORTUNITIES ABROAD

         17 MAY
      Ms. Sneha Subramanian, Ph.D Scholar , Purude University, United States, delivered a knowledge series
      session in a virtual mode for the MGNF fellows on the topic “Exploring Global Ph.D Pathway Opportunities
      Abroad.” She provided valuable insights and information about Global Ph.D Pathway Opportunities Abroad.

      The session focused on the specific aspect of pursuing a Ph.D. abroad. She discussed the advantages of
      studying abroad, different countries and institutions renowned for their Ph.D. programs, application processes,
      funding options, and potential career benefits of earning a Ph.D. internationally. The session was valuable
      for MGNF fellows. It aimed to equip them with the knowledge and resources needed to consider and pursue
      Ph.D. opportunities on an international scale, potentially opening doors to a wider world of academic and
      professional possibilities.



      EXPLORING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN PUBLIC POLICY AND GOVERNANCE
      SECTOR

         25 MAY
      Mr. Yash Agarwal, Founder, The Policy Square, delivered a knowledge series session in a virtual mode for
      the MGNF fellows on the topic “Exploring career opportunities in public policy and governance sector”. He
      provided valuable insights and information about career opportunities in public policy and governance
      sector. He discussed the significance of the public policy and governance sector in the context of societal

      development, emphasizing how government policies and actions impact various aspects of citizens’ lives. He
      also discussed the diverse career opportunities available within the public policy and governance sector. The
      session was an informative and insightful event that provided valuable insights and information to the MGNF
      fellows in this field. It served as a catalyst for individuals considering a career in public policy and governance,

      RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN PUBLIC POLICY SECTOR

      Mr. Rajesh Tamadapally, Policy Manager, JPAL, delivered a knowledge series session in a virtual mode for the
      MGNF fellows on the topic “Research and Development opportunities in Public Policy Sector”. He provided
      valuable insights and information about Research and Development opportunities in Public Policy Sector.

      He provided valuable insights and comprehensive information regarding the myriad research and development
      opportunities  available  in  this  field.  The  session  likely  covered  various  aspects,  including  the  significance
      of research in shaping effective policies, the methodologies employed in policy-related research, and the
      avenues for development in this sector. Through his expertise and real-world examples, Mr. Tamadapally
      offered the fellows a deeper understanding of how research and development play a pivotal role in
