BUSINESS CONCLAVES & PANEL DISCUSSIONS





      HRidaya 6.0

         26 - 27 SEPTEMBER
      IIMV hosted its flagship Annual HR Conclave, HRidaya 6.0, featuring

      insightful panel discussions on this year’s theme – ‘Resetting
      workplace norms in the New Normal’. Organised by Manthan - The
      HR Club of IIM Visakhapatnam, the topics for the panel discussions
      during this two-day virtual event were - Cave Syndrome or Zoom
      Fatigue? Is India Inc. ready to come back to Office? (Day 1) and ‘Love

      it, love it not: What is the verdict on AI-powered HRM’ (Day 2).Ms.
      Sindhu Kalyanasundaram, Founder - Sarva Happiness and Ignite
      Akademi, was the moderator for the panel discussion on the first
      day. The panellists discussed how the operational model of HR
      changed during the pandemic resulting in increased emphasis on
      the spiritual and emotional needs of employees. They spoke about
      the impact of coronavirus on HR and how this triggered the
      transformation from a physical to virtual mode of working; and then

      to a hybrid mode of working calling for greater alignment and
      collaboration between in-office and remote employees. Ms. Harini
      Sreenivasan, Partner – SemcoStyle, was the moderator for the panel
      discussion on the second day. During the inaugural address, Prof.
      Anuradha MV, faculty IIMV (OBHR area), discussed how AI has the
      power to turn futuristic ideas into reality. The floor was then opened

      for an exciting panel discussion, where new thoughts on AI-powered
      HRM brewed and volleyed amongst the panellists. Discussions and deliberations on increasing efficacy
      and efficiency of HR processes by integrating AI were followed by an engaging Q&A session with the
      panellists.



      Colloquium 2021

         30 - 31 OCTOBER
      IIMV hosted its third annual Colloquium – Colloquium 2021 – a series of panel discussionsand keynote

      sessions on trending business topics. Day 1 commenced with the inaugural speech by Prof. Neena
      Pandey, faculty IIMV (Information Systems area), who spoke about how predictive tools can be further
      refined to deliver products much before we order them online. The topic for the panel discussion was
      ‘Marketing in the age of Hyper-personalization and technology’ and the esteemed panellists were Ms.
      Bhuvana Subramanyan, CMO at Randstad India; Mr. Kiran Giradkar, CMO at Nilons Enterprises Pvt Ltd;

      Ms. Piali Dasgupta, Sr. VP Marketing at Columbia Pacific Communities, and Ms. Nischala Murthy Kaushik,
      CMO at HFS Research; with Mr. Farooq Chisty, Chief Growth Officer at Millionth Mile Marketing, donning
      the hat of the Moderator. The panellists discussed and presented various fascinating facets of marketing
      and emphasized on the other vital aspects of personalization. Some of the possible changes in the
      functioning of an organization post the pandemic and the effects of digitization on the life cycle of content
