About
Dr. Vikas Sangwan is an Assistant Professor in the Finance and Accounting area. Prior to joining IIM Visakhapatnam, he served as an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University. He holds a PhD from IIT Kanpur and is a recipient of the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award from IIT Kanpur.
He earned a PGDM in International Business from the FORE School of Management and holds a Diploma in International Banking as well as a Diploma in Treasury, Investment, and Risk Management from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He is UGC-NET qualified in both Management and Commerce, has cleared CFA Levels I and II, and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.
His research interests include Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurial Finance, Sustainable Finance and Reporting, FinTech, and Microfinance. Prior to pursuing his PhD, he worked in various roles at Bank of Baroda and Vardhman Textiles Ltd.
