Academic Profile

Dr. Jyotsna J. H holds MS and PhD from IIT Madras and her research spans positive psychology in experiential marketing, spiritual consumption, tourism typologies and tourist experiences. She brings a strong blend of academic and industry experience, having worked with HCL Technologies and Vodafone Cellular Ltd., where she was involved in customer service operations and retail store branding. Her research has been published in reputed peer-reviewed journals, presented at leading national and international conferences, and recognized with a research grant from the North American Society for Marketing Education (India) and the Best Marketing Thesis Award 2023 from IIT Madras. She has facilitated workshops on qualitative research and has undertaken interpretive study designs across fields such as travel and tourism, business incubation and health care.
