      Ms. Malavika R Harita, CEO of Brand Circle, delivers an engaging talk on ‘Branding
      for Startups’

      On August 20, 2022, IIMV-FIELD hosted Ms. Malavika R. Harita, the CEO of Brand Circle and a resident
      mentor at IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL. In addition to interacting with the passionate female entrepreneurs,
      Ms.  Malavika  delivered  an engaging  talk  on “Branding for  Startups.” She emphasised the importance  of
      researching consumers, competitors, and market dynamics to develop cost-effective solutions to problems.
      During this hybrid event, the Women Startup Program (WSP) participants engaged in a brief discussion with
      Ms. Malavika about their respective firms.
      The WSP aims to empower ambitious and creative
      female business owners by providing them with
      the resources necessary to develop their ideas into
      profitable  companies.  The  Program  is  designed  to
      enhance the managerial and entrepreneurial skills
      of women who manage early-stage and ideation
      companies.
      NIDHI Accelerator Program
      IIMV-FIELD was chosen for the NIDHI Accelerator Program.National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing
      Innovations (NIDHI) is an umbrella programme conceived and developed by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship
      division - NSTEDB, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, for nurturing knowledge-
      based and technology-driven innovations and ideas into successful startups.IIMV-FIELD had received 83
      applications for the NIDHI Accelerator Program, of which 28 applicants have been selected for a one-on-one
      meeting with the Selection and Evaluation Committee.Following a stringent selection process, 15 startups
      were chosen for the programme.
      Social Impactpreneurs Program (under CSR initiative of MTAR)
      IIMV-FIELD has received a major grant to support social entrepreneurship as part of the Corporate Social
      Responsibility (CSR) Initiative of MTAR Technologies Ltd.  MTAR is a national leader in precision engineering,
      serving core and sensitive sectors such as defence, space, and nuclear power, among others.
      The funding will be used to support ambitious and innovative entrepreneurs who are interested in creating
      “value for many” and not just “value for money” through the incubation program’SocialImpactpreneurs
      Program’ .
