Startup story 1: DigiWok Media

Founder Name: Sai Sruthi Sahini

From Structural Engineering to Digital Storytelling

In 2018, I completed my master’s in structural engineering from Andhra University. With my father
running a construction company, it was assumed that I’d follow in his footsteps. However, my heart was

elsewhere—writing had always been my passion.
During my early writing career, 15 of my short stories were published in Pocketful O’ Stories by Penguin
Publishers, co-authored by Durjoy Dutta. Writing gave me purpose, but I also wanted to transform it into
a profession. My first role as a writer at a magazine portal introduced me to content strategy and digital
marketing. This sparked a deeper interest in understanding how stories can shape brands. To sharpen
my skills, I pursued a PG certification from MICA, which eventually gave me the confidence to establish

DigiWok Media in 2021—a platform to unite creativity and strategy, empowering talent and helping
brands find their voice.
About DigiWok Media

DigiWok Media started as a solo venture with a couple of projects. By 2025, it has grown into a full-
fledged digital media agency working with clients across India, the USA, and the UAE. At its core,

DigiWok Media focuses on storytelling—whether it’s through content, design, or campaigns.

Content Strategy; Design; Influencer Outreach. We aim to provide brands with not just visibility but
meaningful connections with their audience.
Our Team

Our team consists of six core members and interns from organisations like BITS Pilani and St. Joseph’s
Women’s College. Each one of us takes immense pride and ownership of the work we do. Together,
we bring diverse expertise on Social media strategists, LinkedIn branding experts, SEO specialists,
Designers, Video editors, Performance marketers, We believe in fostering collaboration and creativity.
Weekly brainstorming sessions and an open exchange of ideas have been key to our success.
