ALUMNI SPEAK
Rejeetha R, Deputy Director (e-Governance and IT), Government of Kerala
(PGP-DGM 2021)
The transformative impact of this program has been phenomenal. The meticulously
designed syllabus covered every aspect of ideal e-governance implementation in
India. It offered a unique perspective by means of a diverse classroom representing
members from various states, enabling usto understand the cross-section of digital
governance activities happening across the country. Collaborative learning was a
highlight.
The program delved into crucial aspects like process re-engineering, change
management, and critical principles to focus and prioritize during digital application
development and transformation. It explored how emerging technologies can be harnessed effectively to
make India, particularly the public sector, smarter in this digital era. The international immersion to Estonia,
a global leader in e-governance, further enriched our knowledge and added an invaluable layer to our
learning experience and the efforts taken by IIM in making it a success is really commendable. The faculty’s
dedication and sincerity were instrumental in helping us grasp the nuances of each topic. The capstone
project submitted as part of the course curriculum helped me in developing a portal named Ksheerasree
for the dairy sector in Kerala. I could successfully lead the project and it bagged the Digital India Award
2022.This program undoubtedly offers a plethora of opportunities for anyone passionate about promoting
digital governance.
I wholeheartedly recommend the IIM Vishakhapatnam MBA program.
Thanking you

Thriving in Ambiguity at IIM Visakhapatnam
Leaving my comfortable job and joining the 1st batch of IIM Visakhapatnam was
one of the riskiest moves I feel I have made in my life. But after joining the campus,
my fears slowly started fading away as I interacted with the amazing faculty,
super supportive admin staff and great seniors from IIM Bangalore.
The case-based approach to learning and the professors made studiesenjoyable
and challenging at the same time. A special mention for Prof. Nagadevara who
taught us Quant to have made his subjects a breeze to understand. The classes were like a story telling
session which started with a plot and had perfect endings. The way professors handled the classes and the
first principles approach to solving case studies has helped me thrive as a Product Manager in my daily life.
Being a part of the PlaceCom and the SAC, helped me become a better team player, and thrive in difficult and
ambiguous situations. I feel I have become a better leader and more professional in my approach due to the
experience in these positions.
IIM Visakhapatnam gave me a platform to learn and grow myself. Thank you IIMV, Professors and my
batchmates.
