IIMV PODCAST





      Launched on 8 March 2021 and organised by the Business Cluster of IIMV, Vpod,

      airs discussions and expert views on trending business and management topics. By
      December 2023, it has successfully completed sixty-three total episodes of expert
      discussions and talks. On 11 August, Vpod, now a club, became only the 4th IIM
      to start their own in-house podcast series, with a presence on well-known audio
      platforms, including JioSaavn, Apple Music, Google Podcasts, and Spotify.

      In recognition of “World Suicide Prevention Day” and the critical public health concern that suicide is, a special
      episode was broadcast on September 9 to underscore the significance of this day. “A step towards suicide

      prevention is a step towards a life saved” was reiterated in the episode, emphasising the significance of doing
      everything possible to foster hope. The episode aired on October 16 centred on the history, progression, and
      geopolitical and economic ramifications of the Israel-Hamas conflict.


























      VPOD also launched 2 podcasts that featured prominent leaders from the industry


      1 INSIDER’S TALK FT. MR. SHITIZ DOGRA:

      The podcast featuring Associate Director of Digital Marketing

      at  Indigo,  Mr.  Shitiz  Dogra,  was  replete  with  intriguing
      anecdotes and examples from his MBA graduate experience
      from MICA and the sales and marketing domain. “Data-
      Driven Creativity: Balancing Analytics and Artistry in Digital

      Marketing” was the subject matter of the podcast. It discussed
      the tools  and competencies  necessary for the burgeoning
      content marketing industry, as well as the influence of social
      media  as  a  marketing  instrument.  Effective  reputation  management  strategies  were  discernible  in  Mr.
      Shitiz’s previous encounters. The meeting also addressed forthcoming subjects such as the ramifications of

      the Air India and Vistara merger, sustainability endeavours within the airline sector, and the responsibility
      of the marketing division to comprehend both the customer and the environment.
