      SRIRAM R (PGP 2022-24)

      ICICI  LOMBARD:  “I  am  thrilled  to  share  my  enriching  internship

      experience at ICICI Lombard, where I had the privilege of working
      on a compelling project. Throughout this internship, I had the
      opportunity to delve into the emerging domain of underwriting
      of  motors,  its  emerging  space,  and  its  profound  implications  for
      consumer behaviour and the insurance industry in India. I got the

      opportunity to perform extensive research, competitive analysis,
      global benchmarking, play with data, and provide recommendations
      based on statistical inferences. This internship has provided me with

      invaluable exposure  to the fascinating world of AFVs, consumer
      behaviour, and the insurance industry. I am immensely grateful to ICICI Lombard for giving me this incredible
      opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project. I look forward to leveraging the knowledge and skills
      gained during this internship as I embark on my professional journey.”

      Wella Company: “My internship at Wella Company, a premium hair colour brand, was an exhilarating
      journey  where  each  day  brought  new  experiences  and  challenges.  From  conducting  market  research,
      gaining consumer insights, and conducting competitive analysis to designing an effective GTM strategy,
      pricing, and positioning for new product development, each day was a new adventure.

      “The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well, the product or service fits them
      perfectly  and  sells  itself”,  says  Peter  Drucker.  This  is  a  key  learning  of  my  internship  at  Wella.  It was

      fascinating to witness the process of turning ideas into tangible products that meet the needs of our target
      audience. Throughout my internship at Wella, I worked closely with internal and external stakeholders,
      including sales teams, brand managers, creative heads, salon owners, and senior executives.
      This gave me an opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain
      a comprehensive view of the industry, thus allowing me to understand

      market trends and providing valuable insights into the dynamics of
      the organization. Overall, my internship at Wella was an immersive
      and comprehensive experience in marketing, focusing on consumer

      behaviour and product and brand management. The roller coaster
      ride of challenges and learning experiences has equipped me with
      valuable skills and knowledge that will benefit me in my future career
      endeavours. I am thankful to the placement team (IIMV) and Wella
      Company for this opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain

      hands-on experience in marketing and new product development.”
