VRIDDHI 4.0 – IIMV’S ANNUAL BUSINESS CONCLAVE

21 and 22 January:

IIM Visakhapatnam held its 4th edition of Vriddhi—the Annual Business Conclave—for the first time at the permanent
campus in Gambheeram on January 21st and 22nd, 2023. The theme for this year’s fest is “MetaMorphosis-Into the
Future.” The event was inaugurated by the Director, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, and the guests with a lamp lighting
ceremony, followed by a speech by the Business Secretary Shivani Eluripati. The Director then spoke about the
various panel discussion topics planned for the event. He also added that IIMV is focusing on developing the
entrepreneurial mindset in young minds using its TIDE (Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurship)
program. He also talked about the importance of analytics and big data in today’s businesses, especially in supply
chain and logistics management. The event was then taken forward by Prof. Shivshanker Singh Patel, who welcomed
and addressed the esteemed guests from diverse backgrounds.
The panel discussions and keynote session were extremely enlightening and added to the classroom learning of the
students by providing them with new perspectives. The event concluded on a positive note thanks to the active
participation of the student fraternity.
