On the eve of India’s 74th Republic Day celebrations in Guntur, the Honourable
                                                 District Collector Sri M Venu Gopal Reddy, IAS and Joint Collector Smt. G Raja
                                                 Kumari, IAS presented Mr. Phanendra Naidu (MGNF, Guntur) with a Meritorious
                                                 Award for his services in the Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the District.





            Mr. Phanendra (MGNF, Guntur) attended the 10 Month Mandatory Internship Mapping program with all the degree
            college representatives. The role of MGNF is to implement the government of Andhra Pradesh’s internship initiative,
            identify internship opportunities within the district, and map the students to the organisations.

            Mr. Satyam successfully conducted the 4-Day Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for Promotion of
            Entrepreneurs at DIC Daporijo, Upper Subansiri district, in the presence of Shri Chimpu Lombi, ADI; Dr. Simanta Kumar
            Kalita, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK; Mr. John Rai, EI; and Mr. Deepjyoti Bora, Fisheries specialist.

            The District Magistrate of Madhepura held a meeting of the subcommittee of the DSC where skill gap analysis in the
            horticulture sector was discussed. After the discussion, the Action Plan Committee was formed with MGNF
            Madhepura as convener. Officials from the blocks, subdivision, and district have to provide the data and feedback
            from ground zero. ODOP Bamboo art and food processing clusters of jute, maize, honey, and banana have to be
            formed in the first setting. A two-month-long training program for tribal women of Kumarkhand block in the
            Madhepura district was scheduled. Handicrafts and furniture made of bamboo were chosen as the final products.
            This training helped women make profits in the SARAS Mela organized by the state government of Bihar.

            Ms. Shruti was involved in preparations for the event, including writing a small story (to be presented by Nukkad-
            Natak), listing the entrepreneurs, designing posters, and coordinating the overall flow of the event.
