WORKSHOP ON WOMEN-LED BUSINESSES AND

PROSPECTIVE GROWTH STRATEGIES

25 February:

As part of the ICSSR project, Prof. Sushil Kumar and Prof. Srinivas
Josyula led a workshop on Women-led Businesses and Prospective
Growth Strategies, in collaboration with CII IWN and APIIC.
Over 25 women entrepreneurs from Visakhapatnam and
neighbouring districts attended the workshop. The participants
discussed the financial, market, technological, resource, scalability,
and accomplishment obstacles they had encountered on their
entrepreneurial journeys.
The session was moderated by Ms Leela, Co-Chair, Health &
Wellness, CII IWN Andhra Pradesh and Director, Lee Health Domain
(I) Pvt Ltd and Dr T Vasudha, Chairperson, CII IWN Andhra Pradesh
& Head – Wellness, Brandix India Apparel City, addressed the
participants on the initiatives undertaken by CII IWN and
appreciated the efforts of IIMV in providing a platform, for
discussing the entrepreneurial challenges encountered by women
entrepreneurs.

MoU WITH GOVERNMENT OF RAJASTHAN

20 March:

The DOIT&C (Department of Information Technology &
Communication), Government of Rajasthan signed an MoU with
IIMV to recognize the mutual interests and goals in developing a
framework for research collaboration; and finding solutions for
larger stakeholders of the societies.
The Inter-disciplinary Decision Science & Analytics Lab, a Centre of
Excellence, at IIMV will collaborate with the department of
information technology & communication, government of Rajasthan
to find solutions for dairy operations, crop demand, supply
forecasting for planning using advanced analytics, crop pest
control and management using AI & ML, commodity price
forecasting, and Agri-commodity supply chain using blockchain
technology. The MOU was signed on 20 March 2023 at the
Rajasthan IT Day hosted by the Rajasthan government.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND ANNUAL MEETING

22-26 April:

IIMV’s ANC office was represented by Jelani Mohammed (Senior
Administrative Officer (Administration)) at AACSB’s International
Conference and Annual Meeting (iCAM) 2023 held from 22nd Apr
to 26th Apr 2024 at Chicago, USA.
