CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS AND GUEST LECTURES

Prof. Abhishek delivered a guest lecture titled “Personalization in the
Age of Artificial Intelligence” as part of the European FOReSIGHT Project
at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania.
He discussed the various Machine Learning algorithms used for
personalization, as well as the dangers posed by filter bubbles and echo
chambers that get created due to these systems.

Prof. Deepika Gupta was awarded the
Reviewers Appreciation Certificate for HR and
MED Divisions by the Academy of
Management for reviewing AOM Annual
Meeting 2023 submissions. She also received
a certificate of appreciation from the
Academy of International Business South Asia
Conference 2023 as the Track Chair for
‘International Entrepreneurship’
She co-authored a paper with our PGP
students Nischal Das, Isha Chaudhary,
Rashmi Fulmali, Sumit Kishore, and Vijay
Sandeep (22-24 cohort) titled ‘Understanding
cyber-terrorism with a special focus on
zero-day attacks’ that was presented at the
1st International Conference on
Computational Finance and Business
Analytics, hosted by IITM, Bhubaneshwar
between April 29-30, 2023.

She also presented a paper titled ‘Byju’s:
Anything fraudulent cooking?’ at the 55th
World Continuous Auditing and Reporting
Symposium’ held at IIM Visakhapatnam, India
between January 9-10, 2023’.
She was also a guest speaker at the
International Women’s Day celebrations at
IIAM, Vizag Business School on March 7, 2023.
