We are delighted to share that a research paper titled “Why Do Consumers Choose Drone Food Delivery Service: A Meta-Analytic Review”, co-authored by PhD scholars Ms. Yashti Vyas and Mr. Kumar Rohit along with Prof. Amit Shankar, has been published in the International Journal of Hospitality Management (ABDC A*, ABS 3).

The study synthesizes existing research on consumers’ adoption of Drone Food Delivery (DFD) services and finds that factors such as performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence, and functional risk significantly shape consumers’ perceived value and attitudes towards DFD services. Positive attitudes, in turn, influence intention to use, willingness to pay, and positive word-of-mouth. The findings offer valuable insights for hospitality firms, food delivery platforms, and service providers looking to integrate drone-based delivery into their operations.
