“V-UNITE Mumbai 2026” - Alumni Meet of IIM Visakhapatnam
V-Unite Mumbai 2026, the much-awaited alumni meet of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV), was held at the elegant Gold Finch, Andheri (E), Mumbai. The evening brought together the vibrant alumni community of IIMV in a spirit of connection, reflection, and celebration.
The gathering witnessed an enthusiastic participation of alumni representing diverse programs of the Institute, including the flagship PGP (MBA), Executive MBA (EMBA), and various Executive Certificate Programs. Alumni from different batches and professional domains came together, making the event a lively platform for rekindling old friendships, sharing professional journeys, and exploring future collaborations.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Happy Paul, Chair - CDS & Alumni Relations, who presented the Institute updates and underlined the commitment to building a strong and engaged alumni network.
He highlighted how alumni serve as the Institute’s brand ambassadors, contributing to its growth through mentorship, industry linkages, and knowledge sharing. He also spoke about IIMV’s evolving role in equipping students and professionals with cutting-edge skills and leadership abilities while nurturing values essential in today’s business landscape.
His remarks emphasized the importance of alumni in sustaining the Institute’s momentum of excellence and innovation. He also shared the Institute’s plan to contribute to alumni’s “lifelong learning” through curated high-impact hands-on skill-based workshops in future.
The Student Alumni Committee (2026–27) presented an engaging summary of ongoing and upcoming alumni engagement initiatives. Interesting and engaging ice-breaking activities like Networking Bingo and Mumbai Survival Challenge were also conducted that added energy and warmth to the evening.
The activities encouraged alumni to interact beyond their immediate circles, sparking conversations and forging new bonds among participants from varied backgrounds and batches.
The conversations continued over dinner and the event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony marking the Institute’s “Ten-year celebrations”. The Alumni Relations Committee thanked the alumni for their enthusiastic participation and acknowledged all contributors who helped organize the occasion.
V-Unite Mumbai 2026 stood as a testament to IIMV’s belief in the power of its alumni network - a network that not only reflects on shared experiences but also actively contributes to the Institute’s present and future.
