Open Campus Day: Nurturing Local Talent and Innovation
As an Institute of National Importance committed to nurturing entrepreneurial leaders, we opened our doors to local college students as part of our ongoing 10 Years of Excellence celebrations.
Built on the values of being accessible, collaborative, and supportive, the Open Campus Day initiative witnessed the participation of around 300 students from local colleges. The day was filled with engaging activities including the Idea to Impact Challenge, poster presentations, and interactive sessions, designed to foster creativity, innovation, and peer learning.
The event concluded with a valedictory session graced by Prof. Kaveri Krishnan, Dean (Administration), as Chief Guest, who addressed the participants and presented awards to the winners. In the vote of thanks, Prof. Pooja Kumari, Head-Local Student Outreach Initiatives, expressed gratitude to Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, for his continuous support and encouragement towards initiatives that strengthen the Institute’s engagement with the community. She also thanked Prof. Vijaya Marisetty, Dean (Academics), for his guidance in the 10 Years of Excellence celebrations and for consistently motivating the team to organize meaningful initiatives of this nature. She also acknowledged the contributions of the Entrepreneurial Passion and Innovation Club (EPIC).
