IIM Visakhapatnam PhD Scholars Participate in Harvard Business School India Research Center Workshop
We are pleased to share that four PhD scholars from IIM Visakhapatnam Mr. Jitranjan Sahoo, Mr. Pawan Kamalesh Thadani, Mr. Veeramani L. Purohit, and Ms. Yashti Vyas. participated in the Doctoral Participant-Centered Learning (DPCL) Workshop conducted by the Harvard Business School India Research Center on May 28–29, 2026.
The workshop was led by distinguished Harvard Business School faculty, Prof. Rohit Deshpandé and Prof. Willis Emmons, and focused on the Participant-Centered Learning (Case Method) approach to teaching and learning.
The programme provided doctoral scholars with valuable insights into case-based pedagogy, classroom engagement strategies, and experiential learning techniques. Participants also had the opportunity to interact with doctoral researchers from leading institutions across India and gain firsthand exposure to Harvard Business School’s globally recognized teaching methodology.
