IIM Visakhapatnam Celebrates the 77th Republic Day with Fervour
The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride, reaffirming its commitment to nation-building through excellence in education, leadership, and values.
On this occasion, Prof. Chandrasekhar M, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, addressed the gathering of faculty, staff, and students. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the security personnel and auxiliary staff for their tireless efforts in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and smooth functioning of the campus.
Quoting the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, it was highlighted that India is among the world’s fastest-growing economies, driven by the strength of the largest youth population in the world. Our youth, with their immense talent, innovation, and global outlook, are truly the flag-bearers of the nation’s development journey.
In this context, Prof. Chandrasekhar urged everyone to act responsibly, serve selflessly, and contribute meaningfully to society, emphasizing that collective efforts strengthen the nation and reinforce core human values. He reiterated the commitment to building a more just and inclusive India. The celebration concluded with vibrant cultural performances by students and staff, adding colour and spirit to the occasion.
