197 Participants, One Shared Learning Journey | EMBA Campus Immersion
The campus came alive as EMBA 2024-26 and EMBA 2025-27 (Winter Batches) gathered for a 5-day campus immersion, bringing with them energy, experience, and a shared commitment to learning.
Welcoming 96 participants from the new EMBA 2025-27 batch alongside 101 participants from EMBA 2024-26, the immersion is set to foster meaningful exchanges, peer learning, and deeper academic engagement. The session began with a welcome note by Prof. Abhishek Srivastava, EMBA Chair, who encouraged participants to interact, reflect, explore, and experiment.
This was followed by the Director’s address by Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, who highlighted the growth journey of IIM Visakhapatnam and spoke about the importance of leadership that balances togetherness, thoughtfulness, empathy along with integrity.
The highlight of the event was an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, Shri Rajkumar Dubey Retd. Chairman, Indraprastha Gas Limited and Retd. Director (HR), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Drawing from his extensive experience, he emphasized the power of peer learning, critical thinking, and the importance of understating the culture of an organization. He also spoke about focus: navigating signal versus noise, making data-driven decisions, and the importance of effectively marketing oneself.
The event also featured the presentation of Certificates of Merit and the Director’s Merit List by the Chief Guest and the Director, recognizing academic excellence and achievement.
