          Dussehra was celebrated virtually with students
        actively participating in engaging events like
        treasure hunt, ‘Entertain US’, standup comedy,
        imitation, Funny Sales Pitch, singing and ‘Guess
        the Gibberish’.
          Every year, Navratri is celebrated to worship the
        nine forms of Goddess Durga symbolising fame,
        health,  love,  prosperity,  knowledge,  creativity,
        commitment, enlightenment and courage.
          This Navaratri, IIMV dedicated the Dussehra
        wishes poster to the girl students from PGP1
        and PGP2 batches, aiming to acknowledge and
        empower the women of the IIM V family.



                                                              15 October
                                                                Dance and Dramatics Society organised IIMV’s
                                                              first ever national online solo dance competition
                                                              called Dance Trance which was launched on the
                                                              D2C platform, open to all B–Schools in India.
                                                                Dance videos of 73 participants were uploaded
                                                              on the Instagram handle  dancetrance_iimv,
                                                              created for the competition. Four  winners  were
                                                              selected of  which one  was chosen for having
                                                              garnered the maxium number of likes
                                                                The competition was judged by Bonny Sikdar.

                                                                2nd Prize: Arundhati Chakraborty
                                                                3rd Prize: Vaishnavi Agarwal
                                                                Special Prize: Niharika Murula




        19 September to 10 November
          Known     as   “The    Prediction   Battle”,  the
        competition  was based on cricketing knowledge.
        Participants had to choose 6 players from both the
        playing teams and points were allotted on the basis
        of runs scored or wickets taken by those 6 players.
        Rules like ‘risky player’ were added to score some
        bonus points.
          Nearly 70 students from both the batches
        participated in this competition. This competition
        ran during the  whole period of IPL, but only
        matches played on weekends were considered so
        that they did not clash with their other schedules.
        1st Prize: Gaurav Kumar PGP2
        2nd Prize: Vani Khurana PGP1



        September - December 2020 Events

          •   Workshop on POSH for PGP 2020-22 batch on 29 October 29, 2020 by Ungender.in.
          •   Workshop on POSH for Outsource staff in Telugu by Adv JahaAara on 19 December 19, 2020.
          •   Essay writing competition on Education Day (11 Nov). The winners were
        1st: Neha Abraham – PGP 2
        2nd: Abhishek Maiti – PGPEx 2
        3rd (tie): Rukhsar Choudhary (PGP 2) and Arun Kumar Bhalla (PGPEx 2)

          •   Slogan writing competition – Aman Deep Ayush – PGP 2 (Best of 4 entries)
