Leadership Development Program for Officer of the

Indian Oil Corporation

The three-day on campus Leadership Development Program (LDP) for of cers of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd was organized at the Institute
from February 5th - 7th 2020. This was the rst LDP for Indian Oil to be hosted by the Institute. The aim of the program was to create the
needed leadership capacities towards helping the cohort gain greater appreciation for governance, institutional and policy reforms, as well
as the management principles, precepts and practices, so that the participants are able to ful l the role-responsibilities envisaged of them as
mentors, facilitators, and champions of change, with competence and con dence. The training facilitated networking and knowledge-sharing
among the participants and the resource persons, provided insights into effective management practices, and offered exposure to the latest
developments in the academic, professional, and socio-economic contexts. The end goal was to empower the participants to transfer the
benefits to their key stakeholders – the shareholders, the firm, and to the nation.
