About

Dr. Gaana J. brings over 15 years of teaching experience across undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and executive education programmes. Prior to joining the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, she served at the Indian Institute of Management Jammu, Alliance University, Bengaluru, and Christ University, Bengaluru.

Her doctoral research on Amitav Ghosh’s Ibis Trilogy critically examines the evolution of cosmopolitanism within Indian Ocean worlds through the lens of historiographic fiction. Dr. Gaana’s research interests span workplace communication, blue humanities, climate narratives, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
