Dr. Chandreie has obtained her Ph.D. in English from Pondicherry University. Her thesis was titled "Navigating the Detective World of Satyajit Ray - A Critical Study." She was awarded the university gold medal during her Masters in English & Comparative Literature from the same University. Before joining IIMV, she was working with Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh, as Assistant Professor in the Department of Languages. Her research interests lie in the domain of Indian Writing in English, English Language Teaching, Comparative Literature, Translation Studies, Neuro-Linguistic Communications, etc. She taught courses in English proficiency both for business school and engineering students.

As a faculty, Chandreie Mukherjee has taught courses on Business Communication, Enhancing Communication Proficiency, and Professional Communication in English for undergraduate and post-graduate students. She also conducted faculty and staff development programs and training sessions on effective communication in her previous organization.
