Senior Management Program – Batch 3B Valedictory Ceremony

The one-year journey of the Senior Management Program (SMP) Batch 3B concluded with a three-day campus immersion and Valedictory Ceremony at Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam.
Over the course of the programme, 73 participants successfully graduated after completing twelve rigorous modules spanning key management domains, including leadership, finance, strategy, and artificial intelligence.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, congratulated the cohort and emphasized the importance of structured learning in enabling logical, evidence-based decision-making, noting that this is the power and the essence of the programme.
The ceremony also recognised outstanding capstone projects such as Mobile ICU Services in Rural Areas, Bharat on Wheels (Future of Mobility), and Health Hub. The event further marked the release of a casebook developed by the cohort, reflecting their collective learning and applied insights.
Participants conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the Programme Directors, Prof. Amit Shankar and Prof. Chandreie Mukherjee, as well as to Prof. Sushil Kumar, for their constant mentorship and guidance. In their reflections, they emphasised the depth of peer learning, the value of engaging with a diverse cohort, and the transformative mentoring experience throughout the programme.
We congratulate the Batch 3B graduates who had their ideas challenged, their perspectives shaped, and their networks expanded throughout this journey.
