Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects | Building Capacity for Digital Governance

IIM Visakhapatnam commenced the five-day Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects capacity-building programme, in partnership with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
The programme brings together 33 government officers from Ministries, Departments and institutions including MeitY, NITI Aayog, Ministry of Railways, Department of Space, Department of Defence, UIDAI, Indian Army, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Civil Aviation, and others.
Working across areas such as digital governance, DigiYatra, Jal Shakti, maritime security, urban development, healthcare and defence, participants bring diverse real-world perspectives to the programme.
Led by Prof. Neena Pandey and Prof. Bhavya P S, the programme covers Digital Transformation, Government Process Reengineering & Change Management, Project Risk Management, Information Security, AI & Emerging Technologies, Design Thinking, data exchange platforms, cybersecurity, the DPDP framework, and Law and Ethics. It also integrates case studies and a field visit to connect theoretical foundations.
IIM Visakhapatnam, a five-year BGA-accredited institution and member of AACSB International, continues to strengthen capacity-building initiatives that connect management education with emerging technologies and evolving governance needs.
