Induction Programme for INAS Officers – MATI NAD Visakhapatnam

The Induction Programme for Indian Naval Armament Service (INAS) officers is being conducted by IIM Visakhapatnam for the Naval Armament Depot (NAD), Visakhapatnam.

This six-day capacity-building programme is aimed at equipping newly inducted INAS officers with essential managerial, operational, and interpersonal skills required for effective service in technical and administrative roles. The programme blends theoretical inputs with practical applications to develop a well-rounded understanding of organizational dynamics within the defence sector.

Key topics covered in the programme include self-awareness and emotional intelligence, effective communication, leadership and team building, interpersonal effectiveness, conflict and negotiation management, production planning, inventory control, quality management, Six Sigma, scheduling, and maintenance management.
