IIMV Launches Chief Human Resource Officer Programme

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam welcomed the first batch of the Chief Human Resource Officer Programme on 29 March 2026.
The Chief Guest at the inauguration, Shri MVN Rao, Strategic HR Advisor, Leadership Coach and Management Educator, emphasized the evolving strategic role of HR professionals in today’s dynamic business landscape. He also encouraged participants to continuously invest in learning and self-development. Reflecting on the impact of AI, he noted the importance of rethinking roles through zero-based thinking.
Prof. Bishakha Majumdar, Programme Director, introduced the144-hour online programme designed for experienced HR professionals. It covers 13 modules spanning strategic leadership, talent management, culture and change, HR analytics, financial acumen, and digital transformation, culminating in a campus immersion and a Capstone Project.
Prof. Anuradha M V, Programme Co-Director, delivered the vote of thanks, highlighting the importance of agility, and noted the enthusiastic and diverse experience brought in by the cohort.
