A Year of Learning, a Future of Leadership: GSLP Batch 2 Concludes at IIM Visakhapatnam
The second batch of the Global Senior Leadership Program (GSLP) at IIM Visakhapatnam concluded with a campus immersion and valedictory ceremony, marking the culmination of a year-long learning journey focused on building career capital, strengthening competitive advantage, and expanding professional networks.
Led by Prof. Aalok Kumar and Prof. Amit Shankar, Program Directors, the programme offered a blend of 10 core modules, 6 C-suite specialisation electives, and a three-day global immersion in Dubai. A distinctive feature was its specialised leadership tracks aligned with key C-suite roles, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Business Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Technology Officer.
The campus immersion commenced with an inaugural session, where Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, addressed the participants as Chief Guest. Congratulating the cohort on their learning journey, he encouraged them to translate their knowledge and experiences into meaningful leadership practices.
During the valedictory ceremony, a case booklet featuring case studies developed by participants was unveiled, showcasing the practical application of their learning.
Participants reflected on their learning journeys and professional growth, highlighted key takeaways from the coursework and capstone projects. They also valued the opportunity to exchange perspectives with experienced peers and build lasting professional networks.
