Finance for Non – Finance Program - Bharat Electronics Limited
The “Finance for Non-Finance” program is being conducted by IIM Visakhapatnam for executives of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), HR, Marketing and Operations & Allied Areas.
This two-day capacity-building programme is designed to bridge the gap between technical expertise and financial acumen among BEL’s operational executives. The program equips participants with a foundational understanding of financial concepts, enabling them to make data-driven and financially sound decisions in their day-to-day functions.
The programme covers a comprehensive range of topics, including understanding financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, working capital optimization, financial and operating leverage, capital budgeting, project risk assessment, and accurate costing for operational efficiency. Participants are exposed to tools and frameworks that help align operational performance with financial objectives.
Delivered by experienced faculty from IIM Visakhapatnam, the program incorporates a blend of lectures, case studies, group discussions, and assessments to ensure applied learning. It empowers non-finance professionals to contribute meaningfully to their organization’s profitability, cost control, and resource management.
