CFO Program Batch 1: Celebrating a Year of Transformative Learning

The Chief Financial Officer Program Batch 1 marked the end of a 12-month journey in Financial Leadership, Corporate Governance, and Digital Leadership with a 3-day campus immersion and valedictory ceremony.
The program brought together 77 seasoned CFOs, finance directors, Head of Finance, and senior finance professionals from diverse industries, equipping them to navigate dynamic economic environments, communicate financial insights effectively, adapt to regulatory challenges, and tackle complex financial decisions across 13 comprehensive modules.
The occasion was graced by Dr. Ramesh Venkat, Managing Partner & CEO, Fairwinds Asset Managers Ltd, and former Group President F&A, Reliance Group, who shared insights on decision-making, trust-building, cultural intelligence, and leading change.
Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, highlighted the importance of integrating finance with strategy and fostering a mindset of continuous learning. He reinforced this message by recalling the words of John F. Kennedy: “Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.”
The cohort reflected on their key learnings, expressing how the programme enhanced their preparedness for elevated leadership responsibilities. A major highlight of the event was the presentation of the Best Capstone Award, recognizing an outstanding project on designing capital-raising strategies across diverse macroeconomic scenarios for five companies at different stages of the business life cycle.
Program Director Prof. Shalini Agnihotri congratulated all the participants for successful completion of the course. She gave an overview about the program.
Program Co-Director Prof. Pooja Kumari congratulated all participants of the program. She emphasized that the program is designed to cultivate well-rounded leaders who are prepared to excel in the evolving finance landscape. She expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest of the event. She thanked Prof. M. Chandrasekhar for his unwavering support and encouragement. She also thanked the IIMV faculty who guided the participants throughout the program, along with the EEP office, administrative staff of IIMV, and the technical partner, "Accredian."
