FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK
Dear Reader,
Here is the tenth edition of our quarterly newsletter, IIM (V)ibes, that covers news and events at our Institute in Visakhapatnam.
Compiled for all its numerous stakeholders, this newsletter chronicles and showcases the ongoing life and activities at Sunrise IIM.
We are extremely pleased to share that IIMV bagged 33rd rank in the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) under the
Management category. Participating for the first time in the NIRF ranking process, IIMV is at the top among the new-generation IIMs.
The current issue of the newsletter encapsulates the events that transpired at IIMV between May and August 2022. It brings to you
news about various matters: our 6th Annual Convocation, Programme Inaugurations, IIMV collaborations, and news from IIMV-
FIELD. The Executive Education Programs hosted a total of six MDPs and FDPs during this quarter and provided custom-designed
training to industry professionals, faculty members and research scholars from numerous organisations. Our faculty-authored
and faculty-student co-authored research publications demonstrate the dedication of our highly diverse and dynamic community.
Through images and poetry, we have provided glimpses of student creativity. We have also added the Alumni and Students Speak
section, in which former and current students share their IIMV experiences.
We hope you get as much joy knowing all about our Institute activities as we had in collecting and bringing them to you.
