FEBRUARY 2018 Foundation Day
Samaarambh The Institute celebrated its 4 Foundation Day on 2nd February
th
2018. The management, staff and students of the Institute came
together to commemorate this day. Mr. Satish Reddy, Chairman
of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories graced the occasion as the Chief
Guest. The event was attended by Mr. Rakesh Kapoor, Mr.
Prasad Dahapute and Ms. Uma Sudhindra, members of the
Board of Governors of IIMV.
Prof. M Chandrasekhar, Director thanked the MHRD, the State
Government of Andhra Pradesh, District and city authorities of
Visakhapatnam, Andhra University, the Board of Directors, the
mentor Institute IIM Bangalore, staff, faculty members and the
students for being instrumental in making IIMV a vibrant and
popular Institution in just 3 years of its existence. He also spoke
about the future growth plans of the Institute.

The Annual Cultural Fest came to conclusion with a lively challenges. He stressed the importance of adaptability, the
(and rocking!) performance by Sreerama Chandra, 2010 zeal for learning, progressing from process orientation to
Indian Idol Winner. The fest had a avor of events like problem-solving, imbibing entrepreneurial skills, and being a
Spotlight, Battle of Bands, etc. good human being, sensitive to the society.
Data Visualizatinon
Workshop
A one-day Data Visualization workshop was organized at
the Institute. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Madhu
Vadlamani, a tech enthusiast, who worked with Google
and Dell. He took an interesting session on Tableau. The
workshop was organized by the IT Club of the Institute.
