The project involves training 76 functionaries ("Fellows") in public policy and skills development and capacitating them to work as an understudy to the Collector & District Magistrate, in 76 districts of the country, i.e., one Fellow per district. The project duration is two years. On successful completion of two years, Fellows would be awarded by IIMV, Certificate in Public Policy and Management.
The Fellows would be paid by the MSDE-GOI, Rs.50,000/- per month stipend in the first year and Rs.60,000/- per month in the second year.
