 Samaarambh


 Samaarambh is the annual cultural extravaganza of IIM Visakhapatnam. It comprises a wide diversity of events
 and amasses colossal participation and buzz in the city. The event encompasses a huge array of both online and
 offline events. IIM Visakhapatnam organized the 4  edition of Samaarambh in December 2019. Various on-stage
 th
 competitions in the areas of dance, dramatics, singing/music and fashion were organized with prizes worth one
 lakh and students from 15+ colleges in and around Visakhapatnam contested in the competitions. Students of IIMV
 organized four editions of Samaarambh so far successfully right from its planning to its execution including the
 marketing of the events, finding sponsorships and getting a huge footfall for the pronites and the overall event aimed
 at the branding of IIM Visakhapatnam. Samaamrabh 4.0 had been a huge success with a footfall of 1500+ audience,
 and the pronites have been organized  at a much larger scale with the famous band THE LOCAL TRAIN performing
 on the first day, and the versatile singer from Hyderabad HEMA CHANDRA performing on the second day. Various
 off-stage events and competitions were organized to engage the audience right from the start of the fest on day 1 till
 the end. Samaarambh is sponsored by various giants like HP, Uber, Apollo Hospitals,  Bisleri, Shoppers Stop, Maruti
 Suzuki, BookMyShow, NOVOTEL, The Indian Express, Thick Shake Factory, ETV, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC
 Bank, Andhra Bank.
