VRIDDHI 1.0.

Major Events and Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam hosted it’s first Business Conclave VRIDDHI 1.0. The two-day long
event saw a series of panel discussions and keynote speeches on the theme ‘Next Generation Corporates and
Economy Revival’. The event started with a grand opening ceremony and invited around 18 esteemed business
Student Activities leaders from across industries to enlighten the students and help them become ready for their future in corporate
life. The event encompassed Panel discussions, Keynote speakers, Live Events, competitions, and Workshops. The
conclave witnessed esteemed industry guests from companies like, Accenture, Intellero, PwC, Nykaa.com, Oppo
Financial Services, Dare2Compete.com, 3nayan, Ranzar Consulting, Elixia Tech, Delhivery, Aditya Birla, ShareKhan
Kotak Mahindra Bank, Morgan Stanley & CRISIL. The guests widely covered topics related to economy revival in
domains ranging from Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain. The event
HRidaya garnered a footfall of nearly 800+ students and leaders, from 20+ B Schools all over the country.

‘HRidaya’- The Annual HR conclave is the flagship event of IIM Visakhapatnam. Since the genesis of the institute, we
have seen four successful conclusions of this event. HRidaya 4.0 was an insightful glimpse into the new emerging
facets of the realm of HR, and it witnessed invigorating participation from the students of IIM Visakhapatnam and Day 1
the corporate world. The event comprised of a keynote speech and panel discussions, followed by Q&A sessions and
competitions for students. The eminent speakers are the leading HR experts from different industries who gather to
impart knowledge on the HR domain’s latest happenings. We had HR leaders from Tata Motors, Tata Capital, Magic
bricks, Grofers, Schindler, Scaleon, Voltas Beko, and Refinitiv. It was one full-day event with the underpinning theme,
“Strategic HRM: Align it Right”. The motive was to understand how the organizations are gearing up for the rising gig
economy and social media influence in the HR domain.
Keeping in mind the relevance of change, especially in current times, the theme for the upcoming fifth edition of
HRidaya in the year 2020 is “Change Management.” HRidaya 5.0 is going online this year, with panel discussions and
student interactions planned over two days. The event shall see participation from some of the best HR experts from
the corporate world and students from several leading B-schools. The discussions would be focused on the new HR
philosophies and the changing role of HR with changing times and the changing nature of the future workforce.

Day 2
