Placement Process Final Placements Statistics

Recruitment at IIM Visakhapatnam is a rolling placement process, coordinated by the Office of Career Development
Services (CDS), together with the Student Placement Committee. The Institute provides all support in terms of (2021-2023 Batch)
infrastructure and facilities for smooth conduct of the process, which is open to all eligible students.

Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs)

PPTs provide an opportunity for students and companies to interact with one another
and exchange information. A PPT is typically of 45 minutes, during which, the company
representatives speak about their organization and the employment opportunities on offer. A
Q&A session forms part of the PPT. Students uses these interactive sessions to understand the 14% 47% 24% 2%

Drawing upon the company presentation and their own individual career interests, students

Shortlists E-Commerce Degital Media Manufacturing
Companies are requested to send shortlists to the CDS Office at least one week prior to the HR Analytics Sales and Operations
commencement of final placement interviews. Subsequently, during their visit to the campus, Marketing & SCM
companies interview the shortlisted candidates and extend job offers to those selected.

Interviews and Offer Letters Placements Highlights

Companies make employment offers to students who emerge successful in the interviews.
Students accept the offers based on the Institute’s Placement Policy.
Companies are requested to send formal offer letters to the CDS Office, within two weeks
from the interview date.
