Launched on March 8, 2021, VPod is an initiative by
the Business Cluster of IIM Visakhapatnam. Designed
to provide insightful discussions and expert views
on trending business and management topics,
VPod has become a significant platform for thought
leadership. By August 2024, the podcast series had
successfully aired 69 episodes and garnered over
2,681 listeners across major platforms including
JioSaavn, Apple Music, Google Podcasts, and Spotify.
VPod delved into Zomato’s strategic acquisition
of Paytm’s TicketNew and Insider in their latest
podcast episode. The discussion explored how this
expansion into the ticketing market could reshape
the industry and what it means for Zomato’s future.
