IMPRESSIONS

                                                    Poetry

                       I CARRY ON ……………..

Your little face that flash every now and then
Through my mind in files and on my screen
In office constantly, with you to be more
Preening myself to have you and only you in my life Head mine when is busy

In my heart I hide you

Making myself more comfortable & you cosy
Carving out to be with you, my little heart!
I try to bring home at my workplace
                       Hasting with typing and tapping
                       Recalling your giggles and gaggles

In my heart, I hide you

Your tearful goodbyes wet my files sometimes
With you behind my head I listen to all

                       Even the screams are soothing
                       And murmurs sound marvellous
My bubbling and babbling is all about you
                       With little steps reaching me

I hide my heart in you!

A rush between life and livelihood
                       Is hard to mention

With the kind ones around, I know I will conquer
                       All dissentions and apprehensions
Dawns and dusks are rolling fast
                       Making my arduous moments softer

I hold you in my heart.
