About IIM Visakhapatnam

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) belongs to the prestigious IIM family of business schools. It is a new generation IIM, set up by the Government of India in September 2015. The Institute is located in its state-of-the-art facility in the ‘City of Destiny’, Visakhapatnam. The campus is GRIHA-5 Star rated facility on approx. 241 acres of land, at Ghambhiram Village.

IIM Visakhapatnam is one of the few IIMs to have a dedicated Incubator – IIMV-FIELD (Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning & Development), a Section 8 (not-for-profit) company. The Incubator thus far mentored and trained more than 1000 aspiring entrepreneurs (men and women) in managing their startups. The Institute is constantly strengthening its academic standards; research performance; faculty capacities; and governance processes.
