concluded on a high note. The Convocation was
declared open by Shri Hari S. Bhartia, Chairperson,
Board of Governors. Prof M. Chandrasekhar,
Director, presented a report on the progress of
Institute, enumerating the numerous achievements JUNE 2019
of students, faculty and women entrepreneurs
receiving support from the Institute. Later, Prof. Y L R Moorthi, who teaches Brand Management,
degrees and gold medals were presented to the Creative Marketing and Marketing Strategy at IIM
students of batch PGP 2017-19 by the Chief Bangalore had an interactive session with our students.
Guest, Hon'ble Vice President of India Shri M.
Venkaiah Naidu. Delivering the Convocation
Address, the Hon'ble Vice President spoke about a
variety of topical issues such as uplifting farmers,
encouraging women entrepreneurs; and, the duty of
youth in general and especially management
graduates, in addressing societal issues towards
improved efficiency and effective management of
available resources. He also advised students to
give up sedentary lifestyle and focus on their
health, along with studies.
